Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced web programmer to join our team. As a web programmer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function. You will be tasked with creating visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly interfaces and navigation structures. Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with web designers and project stakeholders to determine website specifications and functionality requirements.
2. Write well-designed, efficient, and clean code using best development practices for both front-end and back-end web applications.
3. Create user-friendly interfaces by implementing responsive design principles and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
4. Collaborate with the web design team to translate visual design concepts into functional websites, ensuring the visual aesthetics align with the brand and target audience.
5. Integrate third-party services and APIs into websites, such as payment gateways, social media platforms, and analytics tools.
6. Conduct website testing and debugging to identify and resolve any issues or bugs, ensuring the website performs optimally across different devices and browsers.
Additional information
- This is a full-time position with the possibility of remote work.
- Knowledge of web security and experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) are a plus.
- Familiarity with mobile app development and responsive design frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap) is desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively collaborating with team members and explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in web development and implement them in projects as appropriate.

Skills & Experience

1. Proven work experience as a web programmer or similar role.
2. Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
3. Familiarity with programming languages such as PHP, Python, or Ruby.
4. Extensive experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal.
5. Strong knowledge of web standards, accessibility, and search engine optimization (SEO) best practices.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
